Comparing Perfectly Posh's Body Scrubs

All of Perfectly Posh's body scrubs can be used to exfoliate just about anywhere. You'll want to avoid sensitive areas like the face although some people do use our sugar scrubs for their faces, but I personally prefer an exfoliating face wash for my face. With several different scrubs available, I wanted to go through each of their differences and benefits. All of our scrubs are non-oily so they won't separate between uses. They don't all do the same exact thing, so hopefully this gives you an idea of which scrub is right for what you're looking for.

Directions for all:
Use them in the shower or bath (or sink if you're using it on your hands). Massage onto damp skin and rinse off thoroughly when done. If you want a better exfoliation, try it on dry skin first and then add some water to help spread the scrub before rinsing completely.

Sugar Fix is our classic sugar scrub.

Fragrance:
Garden floral with a touch of sweet almond.

 What does it do?
The natural sugar breaks down dead, dry layers. The honey in this aids in healing small tears and damage. Use this several times a week to keep skin healthy and moisturized.

Great for:
All over your body especially any dry spots like knees, elbows, and feet. Also great for shaving. Just rub until all the sugar dissolves then shave it right off. Use in place of shaving gel.

The DaMintcha Sugar Fix is very similar to the classic Sugar Fix.

Fragrance:
Sweet candy peppermint. If you like peppermint, you'll definitely love this one.

What does it do?
Not only will it exfoliate and moisturize your skin just like the classic Sugar Fix, this scrub will also give you a nice kick of peppermint to help wake you up.

Great for:
All over your body including any dry spots like knees, elbows, and feet. This one is also great for shaving. It will exfoliate and help give you a smooth shave.

The last of our sugar scrubs, the Brown Sugar, Baby

Fragrance:
Caramel and brown sugar scent that stays with you after you rinse off.

What does it do?
It has honey as well as jojoba to help soothe and reveal fresh new skin.

Great for:
All over your body especially any dry spots like knees, elbows, and feet. Also great for shaving! Just massage into skin until all the sugar dissolves and then shave it right off.

The Tree Hugger is a deep-cleaning detox scrub.

Fragrance:
A detoxifying essential oil blend of spearmint, tangerine, grapefruit, and juniper plus strawberry.

What does it do?
It removes dirt and free radicals while nourishing the new, fresh layer of skin with energizing vitamin C and rich jojoba and sunflower oil. This one is our most aggressive scrub so be sure to moisturize well afterward.

Great for:
Especially dry spots like feet. Also great to use to help detox areas such as your back if you suffer from back acne. Vegan-friendly.

The Hot Salt Sha-Bang! is a warming deep-muscle sea salt scrub.

Fragrance:
Berries, peach, rose, and geranium.

What does it do?
The capsicum (crushed pepper) is the therapeutic active ingredient that warms up when applied. The more heat you apply the warmer it will become. This one seems to affect people differently so I suggest trying a small amount first.

Great for:
Tired, tight muscles. This will help loosen any tight muscles, so after a workout would be the perfect time. Vegan-friendly.

One of our newest scrubs, the Daily Grind Coffee Scrub is the perfect product for any coffee lover.

Fragrance:
Fresh ground coffee beans.

What does it do?
Coffee may sound great to help wake you up, but the caffeine is actually really great at preventing cellulite too because it brightens and tightens skin.

Great for:
Any areas that might need some tightening and brightening like arms, legs, and torso. Cellulite-ridden areas will really benefit from this scrub. Vegan-friendly.

A Peel to Me! is a citrus salt, sugar, and loofa body scrub.

Fragrance:
Sparkling citrus mimosa.

What does it do?
It will brighten, tighten, energize, and clear your skin with its vitamin C and astringent properties.

Great for:
Any areas that need tightening and brightening such as arms, legs, and torso. Vegan-friendly.

Review: Perfectly Posh Lip Sugar Scrubs

Oh, Peaches | Damintcha | Make-Out Magic | Tree Hugger

I had never even heard of lip sugar scrubs before I discovered Perfectly Posh, but I instantly fell in love the moment I used it. I'm all about practicality and these are perfect for my dry lips. Lip sugar scrubs naturally exfoliate lips and these ones help moisturize afterward too. I'm a big lip balm fan so these are great for me to use in-between to exfoliate. The big plus of these lip sugar scrubs is that they don't need to be washed off like other lip scrubs. You can just rub until all the sugar dissolves or you can just lick away the excess since it's just sugar. I use this 2-3 times a week or once a week at the very least and it's really helped exfoliate my lips so that I don't absentmindedly pick at the dry spots.

March 2014 Special: Apple of my Eye

For March only, you can get the Apple of My Eye Lip Sugar Scrub and Apple of My Eye Bombinator for only $17. That's a savings of $5. This would be the perfect gift for any teacher or apple lover. Spring is just around the corner and this set would definitely bring a smile to anyone's face. I love the lip sugar scrub! The sugars naturally dissolves while exfoliating your lips and then it moisturizes as well. You'll love your lips after this. It's great to use before applying lipstick as well. The Bombinator gives a great shot of apple fragrance in your bath. One bomb is good for at least 2-3 baths depending on your preference.

Review: Perfectly Posh Tree Hugger Detox Body Scrub

Tree Hugger Detox Body Scrub

Perfectly Posh has a variety of different sugar and salt scrubs. One of my favorites is the Tree Hugger which is a sea salt scrub with strawberry seeds and coconut shreds. At a recent event, almost everyone favorited this scrub over the others. It definitely smells a little like strawberries which I love.

The Tree Hugger is one of Perfectly Posh's detoxing products. Not only will it exfoliate, the clay in it will also help pull out the free radicals in your skin. This is definitely our most aggressive scrub so you'll definitely want to moisturize well after using it.

Posh at Play: Feb 2014

Last week, I attended Posh at Play which is a business meeting that Perfectly Posh holds around the US a couple times a year. This event is open to consultants as well as non-consultants. Basically, it's a business meeting where the owners of Perfectly Posh travel to us. We get to learn things to help out our business and we get to try out all the newest products. On top of all that, we get a product pack that is worth way more than the ticket to Posh at Play as well as other goodies and giveaway opportunities. For example, this event was only $29 and we received $75 worth of brand new product.

My Posh at Play goodies, minus a poster and a tracking chart

My favorite part about any Perfectly Posh event is coming home with my head full of ideas that I can put to use in my business. What's also so great about what we learn is that I always find it directly applicable to my life. This time around they focused a lot on treating Perfectly Posh as a business. We aren't just independent consultants. We are small business owners. With the stigma of being involved with a direct sales company coming up from time to time, keeping this idea that I own a business in mind is very helpful.

I am a woman who owns a business

Perfectly Posh is definitely in a great time right now. It's growing quickly and we're hitting record sales. Joining now would be an excellent time to join if you're on the fence, but keep in mind that there is no secret recipe to success. Be smart, work hard, and you'll achieve anything you set your mind to. This is your business which means you can set your own pace and your own goals.  You can set it up and wait for people to come to you or you can go out and get it. Growing up, I always wanted to be an entrepreneur and to own my own business one day. I'm coming to the realization now, and embracing the fact, that I am a woman who owns a business. From now on, I won't present myself as an independent consultant. Instead, I will present myself as a business owner.

Posh stand: Open for business!

If you ever have a chance to attend a Posh at Play event, I would highly recommend it. If all else fails, you'll walk away with enough product to make up for your ticket cost. If you are interested at all in learning more about Perfectly Posh and joining, you can learn more HERE or contact me at poshbysimone@gmail.com. I would love to have you join my team.

Review: Perfectly Posh Skindelicious Body Butter

Brazilian Bombshell Skindelicious Body Butter

I'm going to be adding more videos and detailed reviews of each product, but here is my first video review of the Skindelicious body butter lotions. This video shows the Brazilian Bombshell (which boosts elasticity in  your skin). All the Skindelicious line have similar textures as well. To learn more about the other Skindelicious scents and their unique, individual benefits, read my post about them HERE.

Our body butters are very moisture-infusing which makes them ideal for dry skin. The new Skindelicious are not overly greasy so you're able to use them throughout the day and you'll definitely notice a difference in your skin.

New Product: Skindelicious Scrumptious Body Butter

One of our newest products is the line of Skindelicious Scrumptious Body Butters. These luxurious body butters are extremely moisturizing and will help heal your dry skin. These are ideal for super dry skin and I love recommending this for overnight use because it will last you through the night. You'll wake up with super soft skin and actually feel a difference in your skin. With these body butters, you won't need very much each time you use it. Since we use no fillers, a little bit goes a long way.

Skindelicious Scrumptious Body Butter

If you're familiar with Perfectly Posh, you may have heard of our Slather body butters. The Skindelicious is replacing the Slathers. What's the difference? The Skindelicious is new and improved with more luxurious textures and larger containers. The Skindelicious has a lot smoother of a texture which makes it a lot easier to apply. If you had a favorite Slather scent, you'll find a few of them in the Skindelicious line as well. Brazilian Bombshell is still called Brazilian Bombshell. Lemon Rice is now called Fresh, Creamy Milk. My personal favorite, Sassyooma, is now called Scrumptious Sunshine. Below you can find descriptions of each of the different scents. Whatever you decide on, you won't be sorry. These are the best lotions you'll find and they're affordable too.
